The Precaution to be taken to deal with the Sri Lanka Co-operative establishment
To any establishment which bears the name 'BANK' should officially
obtain a special permit from the Central Bank of Sri Lanka .
Sri Lanka Co-operative Bank, more than 100 years of serving the
country with an old emblem which cheated its customers who trusted all
over the island who invested their hardly earned money in it.

customers trying their best to get their deposited money back
since last 3 years.
The co-operative bank, even after passing 3 years still it couldn't
establish its capitals, investments, report being a government bank
incorporated with the central bank and functioning under ministry of
Co-operative because of its misunderstanding to keep records of the
particular periods.
At last its customers had to re-pay with their deposited money for the
malfunction of the co-operative bank.
A programme on this 'Fraud' has been telecasted on Swarnawahini
'Varenthuwa' programme and several statements has been produced to the
president after many sathyagraha struggles.
We are ready to enclose all the evidences of this bank accounts, media news papers, video clips etc.
When government newspaper Dinamina inquires regarding the present
situation from the commissioner of the co-operative department on
March 2005 he said that there is a dispute regarding a fraud in money
at present and there is an investigation is going on within the
establishment. That is why there is a temporary disorder in dealing
with money and in administration in the bank and nothing to fear of
the bank which will be back to normal.
2009-Apr-10 commissioner announced to suspend all the operation of the Bank without giving back customer’s deposited money.
